Overview of Kinoko & Tokyo Fixed

Kinoko is an ECommerce business comprised of two fashion brands dedicated to hard-to-find fashion and the narrative and culture behind it.

The core Kinoko brand sells casual, lifestyle, adventure fashion products via kinokostore.com. These products are niche, often hard-to-find fashion brands from Japan and America. They also design and create their own line of Kinoko clothing, available exclusively from their website.

The second brand – Tokyo Fixed – sells own-brand performance clothing and originally was a shop in London’s Soho selling cycling parts and offering bike repairs. The shopfront closed a few years ago as the company moved solely online to focus on digital photography, journals and social media to promote and sell their products.

Web Method’s engagement with Kinoko started with a complete audit of their website and digital marketing. Through the output of the website audit we set up a number of different workstreams to deliver on improvements to their website, content and social media strategy.

We’ve also helped with recruitment into their team – both through auditing digital marketing agencies (read our post here for more on this) and interviewing prospective members of staff joining their ECommerce team.
